To prove its commitment to the city’s youth Nike turned its attention away from the Olympic Superstars of Paris 2024 and focused on the unseen youth who harboured Olympic dreams.
The result is a feature-length, coming-of-age film about family, ambition, independence, and identity that reflects a generation’s own journey.
Crois Pas Qu'on Dort (Don’t Think We’re Sleeping) is a 5 year odyssey tracking 3, second-generation French athletes as they chase greatness, both on the Olympic stage and within their communities.
During production we launched the ‘Crois Pas Qu'on Dort Pledge’, a traineeship for under-represented talent behind the camera:
• 500+ athlete casting
• 60 young diverse Parisian creatives hired
• Soundtrack featuring authentic Parisian voices - Tiakola, Sam Tiba & Para One.
The film screened nationwide, ignited culture, earned 500M+ PR impressions and proved Nike’s dedication to the next generation like never before.
